It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a team that has won it all.

The fact it required up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the chance.

"A chance to go out there and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that aspect, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

When she was out Australia needed 66 more at one run per ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, should it happen, we believe we can do it."

That comment will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup need to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
